Footnote #1
[The Hypersphere: To help explain a "universe" concept, we begin with an idea in graphic form. Since we cannot imagine a multidimensional universe (our senses are limited to 3 dimensions of space and the present moment), we shall present a graphic view of the universe as a sphere. The sphere, like a balloon, is round and ever in the state of expansion. All the stars, planets, galaxies, island universes, all that we can see, all physical reality and then some, are located on the surface of the sphere, the hypersphere. The thickness of the surface is the time vector we call the "present", while a vector from any point on the underside of the hypersphere to the center of the hypersphere is time "past". A vector from any point on the outside of the hypersphere, being normal to the surface, is defined as time "future". The hypersphere is expanding at the speed of light. So, all our spacial dimensions are on the surface of the hypersphere which allows us to imagine the three dimensions of time. The hypersphere is actually like a wave traveling through the consciousness of mankind which gives rise to the physical presence of the universe. This results in a universe which is primarily an illusion. Further, this illusion which is only the result of the interaction of the wave on the consciousness of man, is the primary reason man's theories come along to explain the illusion and must constantly undergo change and modifications as man's experimental data is gathered. The gathered data is reflected observation from the illusion and so must constantly be corrected. Even the experimental apparatus that man uses contains, within such apparatus, all the limitations and errors that provide the data by which man hopes to learn. In other words, man's true knowledge about his universe can not possibly come from his observations of what man thinks is reality but is only an illusion. The source is the same as it has always been, the word of G_d revealed through the mystical study of His word. Kabbalah is the key to unlocking the depth of this meaning. ]
